May Bank Holiday Writing Weekend

Coinciding with Inishbofin Arts Festival & offering a bonus two-day writing retreat. Tuition Fee: €270

DUBLIN WRITING COURSES re-commence after Easter,  at city venues north and south-side. Weekday and Saturday classes will run from early June at the National Library, Kildare Street, Dublin. / ph: 0861701418

MAY BANK HOLIDAY COURSES: Our two-day beginner course will run Fri. 4th – Sat. 5th May, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. with 1.5 hour break for lunch and short walks. Developing writer course will run from Sun. May 6th to Mon. May 7th, with same timings. Both courses are structured to facilitate an additional two-day Writing Retreat in the company of the Jaunt group, (Beginners’ Retreat on Sun- Mon, Developing writers on Fri-Sat. of the holiday weekend). Single occupancy accommodation in lovely shared houses in great locations is being organized by the JAUNT. Flat rate per night €37.50. Course Tuition fee of €270  covers: four classes and/or workshops plus one informal ‘discussion class,’ a one-to-one meeting, a group reading, support during Writing Retreat days, optional organised social time, reading materials and a document of the ‘best of’ Yvonne’s tips and techniques developed over twenty years of teaching creative writing! Comfortable and good value accommodation is organised for you  (paid for separately) and detailed handout on island, advice on walks etc. is available pre-trip.
