Successes at Writing Train in 2010!

More than A HUNDRED AND FORTY classes. More than EIGHTY participants.

TWO students on the shortlist for the SUNDAY TRIBUNE Hennessy award (one fiction, one poetry).  SEVEN students short-listed for the Over The Edge New Writing Award. ONE student highly commended there and shortlisted for the BRIDPORT Poetry Prize. Longtime student wins ‘First Runner Up’ prize in Patrick Kavanagh Award 2010

ONE Novel launch, ONE nonfiction launch. ONE poetry collection launch, TWO students finishing Writing M.As, plus ONE student starting same.

TEN Writing Saloon Reading Nights held for students so far this year.  ONE SALOON per month to come, for spring/summer 2011.

AN UNCOUNTABLE NUMBER of shared insights and laughs.
